Sriwijaya Musik continues to innovate with a focus on adding new users to increase sales. This is the story of how I made a beautiful website of Sriwijaya Music

The Chalanges

Our client approached us with 1  simple primary objectives — make a beautiful website including the dashboard and usability beyond their competitors. Our ambition is to create a strong foundation that embraces business and user base millennials

Our challenge were to:
1. Help consumer to find the services they need instantaneously.
2. Explore music course as services and music instruments for sale.
3. Get to know more deeply about Sriwijaya Music
4. Create a different look while keeping products as the focus

My Role

I managed the entire research, interaction design and visual design for the website. This project consisted of diving deeply web optimization, responsive web development, a bit of front-end development and usability testing. The majority of my time was spent on ideating with Muhammad Khotib as engineers and Aldiego Adhi M. as business strategy.

In the begining, it was a personal pain point of myself and the team. We found qualitative research methods to be the most useful, consisting of a kickoff meeting, literature review, competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews, and most important our persona hypothesis construction. We started by asking the  initial questions. Who is our primary user? What kind of goals do they have? Why would someone want to use this application? Just how large of a scope do I want this project to be?

Challange 1

Takeaways

Being a music enthusiast myself, working on Sriwijaya Music was incredibly rewarding. Perhaps this is a real project which i’m the only designer in the team. I was proud of what we achieved. The site became one of the highest performing music course and instrument sales in Yogyakarta. I realize the design and features that I made are still not perfect, and I will continue to learn how to be perfect. From my point of view, helping Sriwijaya music to achieve its goals is one of the biggest wins for this project
